Project Detail

For this portion, the team removed a quarter acre of invasive growth near a crumbling, centuries-old farm wall. They rebuilt the wall and used nearby boulders to create a stone overlook and central seating area. Local, irregular, oversized flagstone forms a path to the overlook. The surrounding quarter acre was planted in a naturalized mix drawing on Dutch naturalism, native meadow, and English cottage styles to help collect water running down the mountain and blend the estate with the bordering conservation preserve.
